Homemade Gingerbread Latte (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - For Gingerbread Syrup:.
02 - ¼ cup white sugar.
03 - ½ cup brown sugar.
04 - 1 teaspoon ground ginger.
05 - ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon.
06 - ¼ teaspoon fresh nutmeg.
07 - 3 tablespoons molasses.
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
09 - ¾ cup water.
10 - Pinch of salt.
11 - For Latte:.
12 - 3 tablespoons gingerbread syrup.
13 - 4 shots espresso.
14 - ⅓ cup milk of choice.
15 - ¼ cup whipped cream.
16 - Fresh nutmeg for topping.
17 - Cookies or marshmallows for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix sugars, spices, molasses, vanilla and water in a pot. Heat and stir until smooth, about 3-4 minutes.
02 - Pour syrup in a mug. Add hot espresso shots.
03 - Pour in warm frothed milk.
04 - Top with whipped cream, fresh nutmeg, and a cookie or marshmallow if you like.
