Place the bacon into a hot skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, turning occasionally, for about 10 minutes until crispy. Transfer the bacon to paper towels to drain excess grease.

Add the chopped green onions to the bacon grease remaining in the pan. Stir for approximately 1 minute until softened and fragrant.

Place the torn lettuce pieces into a large bowl. Pour the hot mixture of sautéed green onions and bacon grease over the lettuce and gently toss to coat.
