Basic Omelette Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 large eggs.
02 - Pinch salt.
03 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter.
04 - 2 tablespoons grated cheese.
05 - 3-4 cherry tomatoes, halved.
06 - 2 tablespoons chopped herbs.

# Instructions:

01 - Beat eggs with salt in bowl.
02 - Melt butter in 8-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low.
03 - Add eggs, let edges set.
04 - Push edges to center, tilt pan for uncooked eggs.
05 - When mostly set, add fillings down center.
06 - Cook 1 minute more.
07 - Fold in half with spatula.
08 - Slide onto plate.

01 - Use nonstick pan.
02 - Don't overcook center.
03 - Can customize fillings.
04 - Gentle heat works best.
