Indonesian Spicy Grilled Chicken (Print)

Bold and aromatic Indonesian-inspired grilled chicken with turmeric, garlic, and chilies.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 chicken thighs
02 - 2 tablespoons turmeric powder
03 - 3-4 red chilies
04 - 4 cloves garlic
05 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
06 - Salt to taste

# Directions:

01 - Blend the red chilies, garlic, and turmeric powder into a smooth paste.
02 - Coat the chicken thighs with the spice paste and salt. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
03 - Heat a grill to medium heat. Cook the chicken thighs for 20-25 minutes, basting with vegetable oil periodically.
04 - Serve the grilled chicken smashed with sambal on the side.
