Irish Coffee Jameson Cocktail (Print)

Classic Irish Coffee meets smooth Jameson.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1.5 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey or other Irish whiskey
02 - 4-6 oz strong black coffee, freshly brewed and hot
03 - 1-2 tsp brown sugar, maple syrup, or demerara sugar
04 - 1-2 oz heavy whipping cream, lightly whipped

→ Optional Ingredients

05 - Simple syrup, as needed
06 - Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
07 - Chocolate shavings, for garnish

# Directions:

01 - Prepare a cup of hot strong black coffee.
02 - Transfer the freshly brewed coffee into a warmed mug, leaving space at the top.
03 - Add sugar or your choice of sweetener and stir until dissolved.
04 - Pour in the Jameson Irish Whiskey and stir gently.
05 - Lightly whip the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
06 - Carefully pour the whipped cream over the back of a spoon so it floats on top of the coffee.
07 - Sprinkle freshly grated nutmeg or chocolate shavings on top if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, ensure the coffee is piping hot and the cream is lightly whipped to create an even float.
02 - Warming the mug beforehand helps to maintain the temperature of the drink.
