Irresistible Summer Peach Cake (Print)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
06 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
07 - 2 large eggs
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
09 - 1/2 cup sour cream
10 - 1 cup canned peaches, drained and chopped

→ Glaze

11 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
12 - 2-3 tablespoons peach juice (from canned peaches)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
03 - In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
04 - Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture alternately with the sour cream, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Fold in the chopped peaches.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
06 - In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and peach juice until smooth.
07 - Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake. Serve and enjoy.
