Jamaican Jerk Burger Pineapples (Print)

Juicy burger with jerk spices, caramelized toppings, and a flavorful twist.

# Ingredients:

→ Burger Patty

01 - 2 lbs Ground Beef (80/20)
02 - 3 tbsps Jerk Seasoning
03 - 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
04 - 3 tbsps Cilantro, chopped
05 - 4 cloves Garlic, diced
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Pepper, to taste

→ Toppings

08 - 3-4 Pineapple Slices
09 - 1 tbsp Cinnamon
10 - 1 Red Onion, sliced
11 - Arugula, for topping
12 - 4-5 slices Colby Jack Cheese

→ Assembly

13 - 4 Brioche Buns
14 - 2 tbsps Mayonnaise
15 - Olive Oil, as needed

# Directions:

01 - In a large bowl, combine ground beef, jerk seasoning, smoked paprika, cilantro, garlic, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and form beef into burger patties. Sprinkle patties with salt.
02 - Slice the red onion. Slice the pineapple into 3-4 slices and dust each slice with cinnamon. Set both aside.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet and add burger patties. Cook until desired doneness and remove from skillet.
04 - Add sliced onions to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes, until onions begin to soften and caramelize. Remove and set aside.
05 - Add pineapple slices to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until slightly blackened. Remove from skillet.
06 - Cut brioche buns in half and spread mayonnaise onto both slices. Assemble burgers by adding grilled pineapple, burger patty, Colby Jack cheese, caramelized onions, and arugula.

01 - Use fresh pineapple for better flavor when grilling.
