Juicy Sicilian Pork Chops (Print)

Savor Sicilian pork chops marinated with herbs, garlic, and lemon, grilled to perfection for juicy bites.

# Ingredients:

→ Marinade

01 - 4 pieces bone-in pork chops, 1-inch thick
02 - 4 cloves garlic, freshly minced
03 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (cilantro can be substituted)
04 - 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary (dried can be used in a pinch)
05 - 2 teaspoons fresh oregano (dried works too)
06 - 1 tablespoon lemon zest
07 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
08 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
09 - 1 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
10 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

→ Garnish

11 - 2 slices lemon (optional)
12 - 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (extra parsley or rosemary)

# Directions:

01 - In a medium bowl, combine garlic, parsley, rosemary, oregano, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well blended.
02 - Place pork chops in a resealable bag or dish, pour the marinade over them, and ensure they are fully coated. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, ideally 3-4 hours.
03 - Heat your grill or skillet to medium-high temperature.
04 - Remove pork chops from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
05 - Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Add optional garnishes and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, allow the pork chops to marinate for longer to enhance flavor.
