Korean BBQ Meatballs Spicy Mayo (Print)

Juicy Korean-inspired meatballs infused with ginger, garlic and soy sauce, served with a creamy, spicy mayo dipping sauce.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Meatballs

01 - 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
02 - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
03 - 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
06 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
08 - 1 egg
09 - Salt and pepper, to taste
10 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)

→ For the Spicy Mayo Dip

11 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
12 - 1 tablespoon Sriracha (or more, to taste)
13 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
14 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce
15 - Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until thoroughly incorporated.
03 - Using your hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs, approximately 2.5 cm in diameter. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet with space between each.
04 - Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through and develop a golden exterior.
05 - While the meatballs bake, combine mayonnaise, Sriracha, lemon juice, and soy sauce in a small bowl. Adjust Sriracha quantity according to desired heat level.
06 - Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the dip for enhanced flavor profile and presentation.
07 - Remove meatballs from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm with the spicy mayo dipping sauce.
