Crispy tortillas with maple-glazed beef, bacon and melted cheese - the perfect fusion of burger flavors in quesadilla form.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 450g ground beef
02 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
04 - Salt to taste
05 - Black pepper to taste
06 - 120g cooked bacon, crumbled (about 1 cup)
07 - 2-3 tablespoons (30-45ml) maple syrup

→ Quesadillas

08 - 4 large flour tortillas
09 - 180g shredded cheddar or American cheese
10 - Butter or cooking spray for grilling

→ Optional Additions

11 - Sliced pickles
12 - Mustard for drizzling
13 - Caramelized onions

# Directions:

01 - In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until thoroughly browned. Drain any excess fat.
02 - Stir in the crumbled cooked bacon and drizzle with maple syrup. Mix until the beef is evenly coated and the syrup is distributed.
03 - Lay each tortilla flat and arrange half of the cheese on one side. Layer with the warm beef-bacon mixture, top with remaining cheese, and add optional ingredients like pickles, mustard or caramelized onions if desired. Fold each tortilla in half to enclose the filling.
04 - Preheat a buttered non-stick skillet over medium heat. Grill the folded quesadillas for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
05 - Allow the quesadillas to cool slightly before slicing into wedges. Serve with additional maple syrup or preferred dipping sauce.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, try using smoked cheddar cheese in the quesadillas.
02 - These quesadillas can be prepared ahead and reheated in a dry skillet when ready to serve.
