Marry Me Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Seared Salmon

01 - 4 skinless salmon fillets
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon oregano
07 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

→ Cream Sauce

09 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 - 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
11 - 1 cup heavy cream
12 - 1/2 cup chicken broth
13 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
14 - 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
15 - 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated parmesan, to taste
16 - Salt and black pepper to taste
17 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
18 - 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Lay salmon fillets on a plate. Drizzle with olive oil and season with Italian seasoning, salt, garlic powder, oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
02 - Heat oiled skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon 3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Reduce heat to low and cook through. Remove from pan.
03 - In the same pan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes.
04 - Add heavy cream, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Simmer 2-3 minutes. Whisk in cream cheese and parmesan until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
05 - Stir in basil and parsley. Return salmon to pan and warm in the sauce for 1-2 minutes before serving.
