Tex-Mex dip with beef, cheese, and beans, baked until bubbly and golden.

# Ingredients:

→ Meat Base

01 - 450g ground beef
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning mix
03 - 60ml water

→ Creamy Base

04 - 225g cream cheese, softened
05 - 240g sour cream
06 - 450g can refried beans
07 - 120ml salsa
08 - 115g can diced green chiles, drained

→ Seasonings

09 - 225g shredded Mexican cheese blend, divided
10 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

→ Optional Garnishes

12 - Sliced green onions

# Directions:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in the taco seasoning mix and 60ml water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, salsa, and diced green chiles. Mix until well blended.
03 - In a 2-liter oven-safe baking dish, spread the creamy base mixture evenly. Top with the cooked meat mixture. Sprinkle with half of the shredded Mexican cheese blend.
04 - Preheat oven to 180°C. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle the remaining Mexican cheese blend on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
05 - Remove dip from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired, and serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

# Notes:

01 - To soften cream cheese quickly, microwave it for 15-20 seconds. Ensure it does not melt.
02 - You can prepare the dip ahead of time and refrigerate it until ready to bake.
