Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground beef.
02 - 5 cloves garlic, minced.
03 - 1/3 cup brown sugar.
04 - 1/4 cup beef broth.
05 - 1/3 cup soy sauce.
06 - 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
09 - Red pepper flakes to taste (optional).
10 - 10 oz linguine.
11 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
12 - 2 tablespoons water.
13 - 4 green onions, sliced.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook linguine according to package directions, drain and set aside.
02 - Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium heat, drain excess fat.
03 - Add garlic, cook 1 minute. Stir in brown sugar, broth, soy sauce, hoisin, ginger, pepper and optional pepper flakes.
04 - Mix cornstarch and water, add to skillet. Stir 2-3 minutes until thickened.
05 - Add cooked noodles to skillet, toss to coat in sauce.
06 - Top with sliced green onions and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - Can add vegetables like peppers or broccoli.
02 - Use tamari and gluten-free pasta for GF version.
03 - Best served fresh.
