Mushroom Fettuccine (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - ½ cup Land O Lakes® Butter, divided
02 - 2 cloves minced fresh garlic
03 - 16 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms
04 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream
05 - 1 pound fettuccine
06 - ½ cup Parmesan cheese
07 - 1 cup reserved pasta water
08 - 1 teaspoon salt, more to taste
09 - fresh ground black pepper
10 - parsley for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Sauté garlic and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter until deeply browned, 10-15 minutes. Add cream and remaining butter, simmer.
02 - Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup water before draining.
03 - Add mushroom sauce to pasta, toss with Parmesan and pasta water as needed. Season with salt and pepper.

01 - Can add extra mushrooms if desired
02 - Adjust sauce consistency with pasta water
