Nutella Puff Pastry Hearts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Pastry

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
02 - ½ cup Nutella
03 - 1 egg (for egg wash)
04 - 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)

→ For Garnish (Optional)

05 - Powdered sugar
06 - Fresh berries
07 - Whipped cream

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out room temperature puff pastry and cut into heart shapes using cookie cutter or knife.
03 - Place cut pastry hearts on prepared baking sheet and refrigerate 10 minutes to maintain shape.
04 - Spread about 1 tablespoon Nutella on center of half the heart shapes, avoiding edges.
05 - Top each Nutella-covered heart with another pastry heart. Press edges to seal, optionally crimping with fork.
06 - Mix egg with water and brush over assembled pastries for golden finish.
07 - Bake for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden. Cool slightly before serving.
08 - Dust with powdered sugar and serve with fresh berries or whipped cream if desired.
