Peach Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 5 peaches, peeled, cored and sliced (about 4 cups).
02 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
04 - 6 tablespoons butter.
05 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
07 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
09 - 3/4 cup milk.
10 - Ground cinnamon.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the sliced peaches, 3/4 cup of sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a saucepan and stir well.
02 - Cook on medium heat for a few minutes until the sugar dissolves and the peach juices start to flow. Remove from heat and set aside.
03 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the butter and add it to a 9x13 inch glass baking dish. Place the dish in the oven as it preheats to melt the butter.
04 - In a large bowl, mix the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk just until combined.
05 - Once the butter is melted, remove the dish from the oven and pour the batter over the butter, spreading it evenly.
06 - Spoon the peaches and their juices over the batter. Generously sprinkle ground cinnamon over the top.
07 - Bake for 38-40 minutes or until the cobbler is golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy with a scoop of ice cream if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For a gluten-free option, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend such as Cup4Cup or King Arthur Measure for Measure.
02 - If using canned peaches, you may skip the first step of the instructions and start from preheating the oven.
