Drizzle olive oil evenly over the flatbread or puff pastry base to add flavor and prevent sticking.

Arrange the pear slices slightly overlapped to cover the entire base.

Scatter the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese over the layered pear slices.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp, and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven. Drizzle honey generously over the top. Sprinkle ground walnuts, torn arugula leaves, and a dash of freshly cracked black pepper.
