Pear and Gorgonzola Flatbread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry or flatbread (store-bought)
02 - 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
03 - 4 oz (120g) Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
04 - 1/4 cup (60ml) honey
05 - 1 cup (30g) ground walnuts
06 - A few arugula leaves
07 - 1 tbsp olive oil
08 - Freshly cracked black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and place it on a baking tray. If using flatbread, place it directly onto the baking tray.
02 - Drizzle olive oil evenly over the flatbread or puff pastry base to add flavor and prevent sticking.
03 - Arrange the pear slices slightly overlapped to cover the entire base.
04 - Scatter the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese over the layered pear slices.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp, and the cheese is melted.
06 - Remove from the oven. Drizzle honey generously over the top. Sprinkle ground walnuts, torn arugula leaves, and a dash of freshly cracked black pepper.

# Notes:

01 - Use ripe, firm pears for the best texture and flavor.
02 - Chill puff pastry before rolling for easier handling.
03 - Adjust the amount of honey to balance sweetness.
04 - Toast the walnuts for enhanced flavor.
