# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - ½ cup granulated sugar
03 - ½ cup brown sugar
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
06 - 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
07 - ½ teaspoon baking powder
08 - ¼ teaspoon salt

→ For the filling

09 - ¾ cup caramel sauce
10 - 1 cup pecans, chopped
11 - ½ teaspoon cinnamon

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
03 - Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
06 - Roll the dough into balls and press a thumbprint into the center of each.
07 - Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. Let the cookies cool completely.
08 - Fill each cookie indentation with caramel sauce.
09 - Top with chopped pecans and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
