01 -
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
02 -
In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of the pie dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
03 -
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Gradually stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
04 -
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined.
05 -
Pour half of the brownie batter into the cooled pie crust. Drizzle the caramel sauce evenly over the brownie layer, then sprinkle with sea salt if desired. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top, spreading it evenly to cover the caramel layer.
06 -
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the brownie layer is set but still fudgy in the center.
07 -
Allow the pie to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of extra caramel sauce.
