Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents (Print)

Flaky crescents filled with sausage and creamy cheese. A quick and savory treat ready in minutes.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy, based on preference)
02 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
04 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Pepper, to taste

→ Dough and Garnish

07 - 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls (8-count per can)
08 - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
03 - Transfer the cooked sausage to a mixing bowl. Add the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
04 - Open the cans of crescent rolls and separate the dough into 16 triangles. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point. Tuck in the sides slightly to keep the filling contained.
05 - Arrange the filled crescents on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each one. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
06 - Allow the crescents to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired. Serve warm.
