Seafood Pasta with Shrimp (Print)

Chilled pasta with shrimp, crab, veggies, and creamy lemon dressing. Ideal for any summer meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta & Seafood

01 - 8 oz rotini, penne, or preferred pasta shape
02 - 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and ready
03 - 1 cup fresh crab meat, checked for shells

→ Fresh Vegetables

04 - 1/2 cup celery, chopped
05 - 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
06 - 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

→ Creamy Dressing

07 - 1/2 cup good quality mayonnaise
08 - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
09 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
10 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
12 - Lemon wedges, for serving

# Directions:

01 - Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking and cool down.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, gently combine cooled pasta with shrimp, crab meat, celery, cherry tomatoes, and red onion. Toss carefully.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
04 - Pour the creamy dressing over the pasta and seafood mixture. Add fresh dill and toss until well coated.
05 - Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to combine. Serve cold with lemon wedges on the side.

01 - Cook pasta al dente to avoid a mushy texture in the salad.
02 - Use fresh seafood for the best flavor, but frozen or canned varieties work as alternatives.
