Spray inside of slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

Brown ground beef over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess fat.

Add taco seasoning and water according to package directions. Cook until liquid evaporates.

Add seasoned meat, cubed Velveeta cheese, and drained tomatoes with green chiles to slow cooker.

Stir well and cook on low until cheese is completely melted, about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes.

Keep slow cooker on warm setting during serving. Serve with tortilla chips.
