Smoky Harvest Apple Margarita (Print)

Warm, smoky apple margarita with mezcal, maple, and cinnamon garnish.

# Ingredients:

→ For rimming the glass

01 - Cinnamon sugar
02 - Flaky sea salt

→ For the margarita

03 - 2 ounces mezcal or tequila
04 - 1/2 ounce orange liqueur
05 - 4 ounces apple cider
06 - 1/2 ounce lime juice
07 - 1/2 ounce maple syrup

→ For garnish

08 - 1 slice apple
09 - Cinnamon sticks
10 - Rosemary sprig (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Mix equal parts cinnamon sugar and flaky sea salt on a plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it into the cinnamon sugar and salt mixture to coat. Set the glass aside.
02 - In a cocktail shaker, combine the mezcal or tequila, orange liqueur, apple cider, lime juice, and maple syrup. Adjust the maple syrup to your desired level of sweetness.
03 - Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously to combine and chill the ingredients.
04 - Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
05 - Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick. For an optional smoky effect, light the cinnamon stick on fire briefly before serving. You can also add a rosemary sprig for an extra aromatic touch.
