Smothered Pork Chops & Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 pork chops, bone-in or boneless, about 1-inch thick
02 - 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
03 - 1 green bell pepper, diced
04 - 1 small onion, chopped

→ Seasonings and Oil

05 - 3 tablespoons olive oil or butter
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1 teaspoon paprika

# Instructions:

01 - Chop onion and bell pepper, peel and cut potatoes into chunks, and season pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
02 - Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear pork chops on both sides until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, sauté onion, bell pepper, and potatoes until slightly softened, about 5–7 minutes.
04 - Return pork chops to the skillet, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 20–25 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and pork chops are cooked through.
