Steak Cheese Blackstone Quesadillas (Print)

Sizzling steak and two cheeses folded into golden, crispy tortillas - a simple griddle favorite ready in minutes.

# Ingredients:

→ For the steak

01 - 1 medium onion, diced
02 - 5 grams black pepper
03 - 5 grams salt
04 - 2 grams onion powder
05 - 15 millilitres vegetable oil
06 - 450 grams skirt steak, chopped into small 2.5 cm chunks

→ For the quesadillas

07 - 4 burrito-size flour tortillas
08 - 150 grams Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
09 - 200 grams mozzarella cheese, grated

# Directions:

01 - Pour a little oil over your Blackstone, then heat to medium-high (approximately 200°C).
02 - Add the steak pieces and onions to the hot griddle. Season with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 4-8 minutes, turning occasionally.
03 - Push the cooked steak and onions to one side of the griddle to create space, then reduce heat to medium.
04 - Place tortillas on the cleared area. Layer each with mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheese, spoon the steak-onion mixture on top, then add another layer of cheese.
05 - Fold each tortilla in half to create semicircles. Cook until the bottom turns golden brown, approximately 2 minutes.
06 - Carefully flip the quesadillas and cook for another 2 minutes until the other side is crisp and golden, watching closely to prevent burning.
07 - Transfer quesadillas to a cutting board, slice into wedges, and serve immediately while hot and crisp.
