Strawberry Earthquake Cake Dessert (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Base

01 - 1 box white cake mix
02 - Ingredients required by cake mix (usually water, oil, and eggs)
03 - 1 cup strawberries, chopped

→ Cream Cheese Mixture

04 - 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
05 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
06 - 4 cups powdered sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Toppings

08 - 1/2 cup coconut flakes
09 - 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish to ensure the cake does not stick.
02 - Prepare the cake batter following the instructions on the cake mix box. Once fully mixed, gently fold in the chopped strawberries. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish.
03 - In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
04 - Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter in the baking dish, spreading them out slightly. Sprinkle the coconut flakes and white chocolate chips evenly over the top.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 40–45 minutes or until the cake is set and the edges are golden brown.
06 - Allow the cake to cool completely. Admire the cracked, earthquake-like appearance on top before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, ensure that the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the mixture.
