Sweet Balsamic Marinated Steak (Print)

Tender steak soaked in sweet balsamic, brown sugar, and aromatic herbs for a caramelized exterior and juicy interior.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Steak

01 - 340g steak

→ Marinade

02 - 80ml balsamic vinegar
03 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
04 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 2 sprigs rosemary, finely chopped
07 - 150g dark brown sugar
08 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
09 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
10 - 1/3 teaspoon red pepper flakes

# Directions:

01 - Finely mince the garlic cloves and rosemary sprigs until well chopped.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, and olive oil. Stir until sugar begins to dissolve. Add the minced rosemary, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix thoroughly.
03 - Transfer the marinade to a zip-lock bag, add the steak, and seal. Massage the bag to ensure the steak is completely coated. Refrigerate for 6 hours to allow flavors to penetrate the meat.
04 - Remove the steak from the marinade and pat it completely dry with paper towels to ensure proper searing.
05 - Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak until the exterior develops a caramelized crust and the interior reaches desired doneness (approximately 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare).

# Notes:

01 - The longer you marinate the steak, the more flavorful it will be. For best results, marinate between 6-24 hours.
02 - Let the steak rest for 5 minutes after cooking before slicing against the grain.
