Tilapia in Roasted Pepper Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 tilapia fillets
02 - Salt to taste
03 - Pepper to taste
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 2 tablespoons butter
06 - 1 cup roasted red peppers
07 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
08 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
10 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
11 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Season the tilapia fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
02 - Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the tilapia fillets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
04 - Add the roasted red peppers and cook for another 2 minutes. Then, transfer the peppers and garlic to a blender and blend until smooth.
05 - Return the blended sauce to the skillet, stir in the heavy cream, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
06 - Return the cooked tilapia fillets to the skillet, spooning the roasted pepper sauce over the fish to coat.
07 - Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
