Season the tilapia fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the tilapia fillets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the roasted red peppers and cook for another 2 minutes. Then, transfer the peppers and garlic to a blender and blend until smooth.

Return the blended sauce to the skillet, stir in the heavy cream, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Return the cooked tilapia fillets to the skillet, spooning the roasted pepper sauce over the fish to coat.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
