Ultimate Baked Mac Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta

01 - 2½ cups (10 oz) elbow macaroni, uncooked

→ Cheese Sauce

02 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
04 - ½ teaspoon salt
05 - ¼ teaspoon pepper
06 - 3 cups lukewarm milk
07 - 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
08 - 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
09 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
10 - ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
02 - Melt butter in oven-proof skillet over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 1-2 minutes until lightly browned. Add salt and pepper.
03 - Whisk in milk until smooth. Add provolone and half the cheddar cheese. Stir in Worcestershire sauce. Cook 5 minutes until thickened.
04 - Add cooked macaroni to sauce, stir to combine. Top with remaining cheddar and paprika. Bake 15 minutes until bubbly and browned.
