Valentine's Day Giant Double Chocolate Cookie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Base

01 - 2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, room temperature
02 - 2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons (25g) brown sugar
04 - 2 tablespoons (30ml) beaten egg
05 - 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
06 - 1/4 cup (31g) all-purpose flour
07 - 2 tablespoons (10g) unsweetened cocoa powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
09 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Mix-Ins and Decoration

10 - 1/4 cup (55g) semi-sweet chocolate chips plus 1 tablespoon for topping
11 - 2 teaspoons Valentine's sprinkles (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Cream butter and sugars together. Stir in beaten egg and vanilla.
02 - Whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt separately. Mix into wet ingredients. Fold in 1/4 cup chocolate chips.
03 - Refrigerate dough while oven preheats to 350°F.
04 - Form dough into tall mound on lined baking sheet. Top with remaining chocolate chips and sprinkles.
05 - Bake 18-22 minutes until edges are set but center looks soft. Cool 5-10 minutes before serving.
