In a medium bowl, pour in the cold apple cider and sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the top. Stir gently to moisten all the powder. Avoid overmixing to prevent clumps.

Allow the mixture to rest for about 3 minutes to let the gelatin bloom.

Pour in the hot apple cider and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Stir in the Fireball whiskey and combine well.

Pour the mixture into shot cups, filling each about 3/4 of the way. Transfer the cups to the fridge and chill for at least 2 hours or until fully set.

Before serving, garnish with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, and a thin apple slice if desired.
