01 -
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray the rack with nonstick spray.
02 -
Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Arrange them in a single layer on the prepared rack. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
03 -
While the wings bake, prepare the glaze. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
04 -
Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Whisk the slurry into the saucepan and simmer until the glaze thickens, about 5 minutes.
05 -
Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the glaze over them. Toss to coat evenly.
06 -
Return the glazed wings to the wire rack and bake for another 10 minutes to caramelize.
07 -
Garnish the wings with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
