Crispy Chicken Katsu (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Breading

03 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
04 - 2 eggs, beaten
05 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
06 - Vegetable oil for frying

→ Serving

07 - 2 cups cooked white rice
08 - 1 cup shredded cabbage
09 - Tonkatsu sauce
10 - Sesame seeds for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Pound chicken breasts between plastic wrap to 1/2 inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.
02 - Place flour, beaten eggs, and panko in separate shallow bowls.
03 - Coat chicken in flour, then eggs, then panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
04 - Heat 1/2 inch oil over medium-high heat. Fry chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
05 - Slice chicken and serve with rice, cabbage, tonkatsu sauce, and sesame seeds.
