Lavender Gin Sour Cocktail (Print)

A refreshing lavender gin sour with lemon and silky foam topping.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 oz high-quality gin
02 - 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
03 - 0.5 oz lavender simple syrup or lavender syrup made with culinary lavender or extract
04 - 0.25 oz simple syrup, optional to taste
05 - 1 egg white or 1 oz aquafaba for foam
06 - ice cubes
07 - lavender sprig or lemon twist for garnish

# Directions:

01 - Add gin, lemon juice, lavender syrup, and egg white or aquafaba to a cocktail shaker.
02 - Dry shake (no ice) for about 10 seconds to build foam.
03 - Add ice and shake again until the shaker feels very cold.
04 - Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
05 - Garnish with a lavender sprig or lemon twist.
