Loaded Mashed Potato Bowls (Print)

Creamy mashed potatoes with classic loaded toppings like bacon, cheese, and chives.

# Ingredients:

→ Mashed Potatoes

01 - 3 pounds russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
02 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - ¾ cup warm milk or heavy cream
04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Classic Loaded Toppings

06 - 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
08 - ¼ cup sour cream
09 - ¼ cup green onions or chives, chopped

# Directions:

01 - Place cubed potatoes in a large pot. Cover with cold salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender. Drain well and return to the pot.
02 - Add butter to hot potatoes. Mash until smooth. Gradually pour in warm milk or cream. Season with salt and black pepper. Mix until fluffy and creamy.
03 - Cook bacon until crispy and crumble. Shred cheese if not pre-shredded. Chop green onions or chives.
04 - Spoon mashed potatoes into bowls. Top with shredded cheese, bacon, sour cream, and green onions. Serve immediately while hot.
