Ritz Cracker Cookies (no-bake, 3-ingredients!) (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Ritz Crackers.
02 - Creamy Peanut Butter.
03 - Vanilla Candy Coating.
04 - Red/Green Food Coloring.

# Instructions:

01 - Place 1 ½ teaspoons of peanut butter in the center of one Ritz cracker. Spread it gently to cover nearly to the edge, leaving about a ¼-inch border.
02 - Top the peanut butter-smothered cracker with another Ritz cracker, with the salty sides facing outward for that iconic taste.
03 - Melt your vanilla candy coating in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until it's smooth and ready for dipping.
04 - Dip the peanut butter sandwiches into the melted coating, ensuring every side is thoroughly covered. Use the side of the dish to gently remove excess coating from the bottom.
05 - Set the coated cookies on wax paper to cool and harden.
06 - For a festive touch, color some of the melted vanilla coating with food coloring. Pour the mixture into separate Ziploc bags and snip a small corner off.
07 - Drizzle the colored coating over the cookies in stripes or patterns, switching colors to create a vibrant, crisscross design.
08 - Allow the cookies to fully set and harden before peeling off the wax paper. Break off any excess hardened coating, if needed.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use gloves or two forks when dipping the peanut butter crackers in melted coating for minimal mess.
02 - Ensure even melting of the candy coating by stirring frequently whether using a microwave or double boiler.
03 - Chill cookies in the refrigerator or freezer to speed up the setting process.
04 - Consider using alternative spreads like almond or sunflower seed butter if peanut allergies are a concern.
05 - For a different twist, chocolate almond bark or melted chocolate versions can replace vanilla coating.
