Roasted Sweet Potatoes (Print)

Caramelized sweet potatoes with cinnamon and brown sugar for a delicious side dish.

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 medium sweet potatoes
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
06 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup, optional

# Directions:

01 - Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes. Cut them into 1-inch cubes, leaving the skin on if desired.
02 - In a mixing bowl, toss the sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar until well coated.
03 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned sweet potatoes out in a single layer.
04 - Roast in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
05 - Drizzle with maple syrup just before serving for extra sweetness.
