Cracker Toffee Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sleeve Saltine crackers (48).
02 - 1 cup butter, cubed.
03 - 1 cup brown sugar.
04 - 2 cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips.
05 - 1/3 cup chopped pecans or other toppings.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F and line pan with foil and cooking spray.
02 - Arrange crackers in single layer on prepared pan.
03 - Boil butter and brown sugar for 3 minutes until caramel colored.
04 - Pour caramel over crackers and spread evenly.
05 - Bake 7-8 minutes until bubbly.
06 - Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot toffee.
07 - Let chocolate melt then spread smooth.
08 - Add chopped nuts or desired toppings.
09 - Chill minimum 2 hours until firm.
10 - Break into pieces to serve.
