Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture over the strawberry filling layer.

Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the cream cheese layer. Do not stir.

Pour the melted butter evenly over the dry cake mix, covering as much of the surface as possible.

Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
