Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake (Print)

Decadent strawberry cheesecake with buttery cake layers.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 box of vanilla cake mix or yellow cake mix
02 - 1 can (21 oz) of strawberry pie filling
03 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
04 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
05 - 1/2 cup sugar
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
08 - 1 cup whipped topping, optional for serving

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
03 - Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
04 - In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture over the strawberry filling layer.
05 - Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the cream cheese layer. Do not stir.
06 - Pour the melted butter evenly over the dry cake mix, covering as much of the surface as possible.
07 - Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
08 - Allow the cake to cool for a bit before serving. Serve warm with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream if desired.
